BFM Radio today held an Agents' Engagement Workshop at WESREC Hotel, bringing together the station's management and agents to strengthen teamwork, improve accountability, and enhance customer service.

Speaking at the workshop, the Managing Director, Jonas Tumwiine, thanked the Board of Directors, management, and agents for their continued support, saying their collective commitment has enabled BFM Radio to remain strong and continue serving its audience effectively.

The Director of Marketing, Julius Tumusiime, reminded participants that everyone, regardless of where they are, is a customer and deserves to be treated with kindness, respect, and professionalism. He commended the station's agents for their dedication in ensuring smooth service delivery and encouraged them to maintain—and even increase—their commitment.

The Station Accountant, Mercy Asingwiire, emphasized the importance of proper record keeping. She urged agents to maintain written records for reference and accountability, noting that accurate documentation is essential in preventing unnecessary losses and promoting transparency.

The Director of Finance, Milton Ahimbisibwe, applauded agents for their efforts in promoting the station's business. He noted that business should generate profit and condemned the practice of overcharging clients. He further encouraged all staff and agents to work together as one team for the continued growth and development of BFM Radio.

Ahimbisibwe also stressed the need for monthly reconciliation of accounts and urged all agents to clear any outstanding company debts by the end of August 2026, emphasizing that timely settlement of obligations is vital for the smooth running of the station's operations.

Management also announced that all agents will receive branded press-style jackets within the next month as part of efforts to strengthen the station's corporate identity.

On their part, the agents pledged to implement the resolutions agreed upon during the workshop and commended the BFM Radio administration for organizing a productive and successful engagement.
